If having trouble in your home’s foundation can be a real pain you can only imagine what it is like to deal with foundation issues in commercial buildings. Here we are not only going to have to take into account the type of foundation that we are going to be dealing with, but also the size of the building and its place as it pertains to streets or other neighboring areas. It goes without saying, but we are going to want to be extra careful with these types of projects. If you are going through these types of issues we are the people that you are going to want to call.

Not All Cracks Are Signs Of Major Damage

Up to this point we have talked about these issues being usually pretty severe. We want to take this chance to scale it back a bit. A lot of times the formation of cracks is just a sign of natural wear and tear. Although they should be tended to, so that they don’t develop any further this does not always indicate that there is going to be a major problem present that is going to lead us to try and level the entire building.

Adding Support

Over the years it is not uncommon to see that older foundations will begin to sink. Usually holding up the weight of the building for a long time takes a toll. In these cases, we may be able to add extra metal support systems to the structure to try and even out the weight distribution and literally stop the sinking. This is just one of the many solutions that we could come up with to take care of these types of problems.

Permits & Law

If you report that you have a foundation issue it is not going to take long for local authorities to come snooping around. Especially if we are talking about a large building. At times we are going to need to work on public property such as the street. This is not something that we are just going to be able to do out of the blue. We are going to need special permits from the city to be able to get the job done. When this happens you are probably going to be under enough stress as it is and we know that. That is why we want to help you with all of the boring paperwork and things that you are going to need to do for us to get our job done.

Be Proactive

The best way to avoid any type of problem is to provide proper maintenance to the area. The way that we see it there is really no way around that. Having said this, we are going to be able to come in and take a look at your foundation from time to time and spot any developing problems. Doing this periodically will make it more likely for us to be able to take care of problems quickly.
